Angispan TR containing nitro-glycerine (active ingredient) is effective in treating chest pain associated with restricted blood flow towards the heart. It also helps people with sudden vasoconstriction of heart arteries, or heart attack. Nitroglycerin, the active ingredient of the medicine relaxes blood vessels, which improves the blood and oxygen flow to your heart. This helps prevents chest pain caused by angina. However, the drug does not stop an episode of chest pain. The oral medication will not relieve chest pain once it occurs. It is also not intended to be taken just before an exercise or sexual activity to prevent chest pain.
Product Description
Exercise caution, especially in patients with a history of liver or kidney impairment, stroke, an underactive thyroid, lung disease, chills, and increased eye pressure. If you have an allergy to the active ingredient Nitroglycerin or other inactive ingredients of the medicine. If you are allergic to other medications, foods or other substances, tell your health care specialist. Do not take this medication if you are already using medicines to treat high blood pressure or erectile dysfunction (ED), or if you have anaemia or glaucoma. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Angispan TR as it may increase the risk of side effects. If you witness dizziness, avoid driving or engaging in activities that require you to stay attentive for long. Side Effects
The most common side effects of Angispan TR 2.5 mg is a headache which may be severe in some cases. You can improve this condition by drinking plenty of fluid ad avoiding alcohol. You may also witness light-headedness which could increase your risk of having a fall. How to Use
Angispan TR 2.5 mg is available in the form of capsules for oral administration. One must take it in the dose and duration advised by your health care specialist. It may be taken before or after consuming food, prefer taking it at a fixed time each day. In case your chest pain continues for more than fifteen minutes before a workout, which contribute to chest pain. Do not break the capsules and take the capsule with a glass of water. Take your doses at regular intervals as advised by your health care professional. You are not allowed to discontinue the treatment without speaking to your health care provider.
