    Budecort respules help to prevent asthma symptoms, which include wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath. It contains the active ingredient Budesonide, a steroid medicine known as a preventer. You need to keep a quick relief medicine also because this medicine will not stop an asthma attack that has already begun.

    Product Description

    Do not use Budecort respules 0.5 mg per 2 ml to treat sudden asthma symptoms. It should not be used if your child is allergic to Budesonide or any of the ingredients of the budesonide respules. Before your child uses Budecort respules, tell your doctor if your child:

    — Has or had tuberculosis of the respiratory tract

    — Has an allergy

    — Has certain kinds of infections such as fungal, bacterial, parasitic, viral, herpes simplex infection

    — Has or recently had measles or chicken pox

    Budecort respules may not be appropriate for your child with these infections. Tell your doctor if your child takes corticosteroids, anticonvulsants, ketoconazole, immunosuppressants, and certain medicines that can affect how your liver breaks down medicine.

    Side Effects

    The most common side effects of Budecort respules include viral infections, runny nose, respiratory infections, cough, rash, pink eye, ear infections, ear infections, nosebleeds, viral irritation, and inflammation of the stomach and intestine. Tell your doctor if your child develops side effects that become bothersome or do not go away. For more information, talk to your doctor.

    Budesonide respules may cause serious side effects as well. These include candida (a fungal infection),  worsening of asthma, and allergic reactions (severe itching, chest pain, itching, anxiety, trouble breathing, skin rash, and swelling of face/mouth/tongue.

    How to Use

    Your doctor will tell you how often you need to use Budecort respules 0.5 mg per 2 ml. Using the lowest dose to control your asthma effectively is always best. The effect of this medicine may be noticeable after a few days, but its maximum effects can be experienced after a few weeks. Make sure you use it regularly, as advised by your doctor. Continue using it even if you do not have symptoms. If you do not have symptoms while using the medicine, consider the medicine is working well. If you discontinue the treatment, your asthma may get worse. Budecort respules should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks. You need a quick-relief inhaler to get rid of a sudden asthma attack. To get maximum benefits, ensure you get the right technique of using Budecort respules; otherwise,  it will not work well.

    Budecort respules are for inhaled use only. Use them with a jet nebulizer connected to an air compressor setup with a mouthpiece or face mask. Do not mix Budesonide respules with other nebulizer medicines. Talk with your doctor if you are giving your child another medicine by inhalation to treat asthma. Improvement in asthma symptoms can occur within 2 to 8 days. One needs to wait up to 4 to 6 weeks for maximum improvement.
