Description
Candid B cream is an antifungal ointment used for the management of fungal infections and associated skin irritation. The topical therapy is particularly useful for the short-term treatment of certain fungal infections of the skin, when itchiness and redness may be the major problems. It minimizes symptoms of fungal skin infections.
The medicine combines Beclomethasone, which reduces inflammation and Clotrimazole as another active ingredient which prevents the growth of fungus responsible for causing infection. For best effects, the medication should be used under the supervision of a doctor. Do not use this antifungal combination drug if you are under 17 years of age.
Product Description
Before using Candid B cream, tell your doctor about all the medical condition, including if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Notify your doctor about all the medicine you take, including vitamins or herbal supplements. Rarely, oral medication can interfere with the mode of action of Beclomethasone or clotrimazole. Especially, tell your doctor if you take an oral corticosteroid medicine or apply topical solutions on the scalp that contains corticosteroids.
Side Effects
Candid B Cream 30 gm may pass through your skin. Too much cream can cause your adrenal gland to stop working. Your doctor may ask to have a blood test for adrenal glands problem. Some patients may witness vision problems. The antifungal drug may increase your chance of developing glaucoma and cataracts. Notify your doctor if you develop blurred vision during the topical therapy. The most common side effects associated with the use of Candid B cream include swelling, tingling, rash, burning, and infections. There are other side effects as well that may affect you. If it happens, call your doctor for medical advice about side effects.
How to Use
Use candid B cream 30 gm exactly as your doctor tells you to use it. Use it for the prescribed time, even if your symptoms get better. Do not use more than the prescribed amount. Avoid covering, wrapping treated area unless your doctor tells you to. Wear loose-fitting clothes if you use this topical preparation kin the groin area. Do not apply the cream on your face or underarms. For the treatment of fungal infection of the groin and body, apply a thin layer to cover the entire affected area twice daily for one week. Do not use longer than two weeks. Let your doctor if the treated area does not improve after one week of treatment. Do not use for longer than two weeks.
When it comes to treating fungal infections of the feet, apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area twice daily for fourteen days. Tell your doctor if you do not see improvement after regular application for two weeks. You should not use candid B cream for longer than four weeks. Be sure to wash your hands after each application.
