Description
Clofert 50 mg treats ovulatory dysfunction in women who want to conceive. It is indicated only in patients who meet the following conditions:
– Women who are pregnant
– Women without ovarian cysts. Clomiphene should not be given to women with enlarged ovaries except those with polycystic ovary syndrome.
– Women without abnormal vaginal bleeding. In active vaginal bleeding, the women should be checked for neoplastic lesions.
– Women with normal liver function
It contains the active constituent Clomiphene citrate, an orally administered, nonsteroidal, ovulatory stimulant. Patients who are more likely to achieve success with Clofert 50 mg include patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and certain forms of amenorrhea.
Product Description
Clofert 50 mg should not be used if you are allergic to it. It Is not recommended if you have liver problems, unknown abnormal vaginal bleeding, brain tumour, pituitary gland tumour, cyst in your ovary, or thyroid or adrenal gland condition. Do not take this medicine if you reach menopause early. Clofert is not intended for use in children and adolescents. It is not safe for use during pregnancy. Speak to your doctor before taking this medicine if you are breastfeeding.
Clomiphene should be taken cautiously if you have excess fats in the blood, hormone-dependent fibroids in your womb, or have a history of seizures. Before taking Clofert 50 mg, let your doctor know if you have any problems in your kidney and liver. Your doctor should know all your medications, as many may make Clofert less effective or change how it works. Alcohol should be avoided while taking this medicine.
Side Effects
Clofert 50 mg has common side effects such as breakthrough bleeding or spotting, flushing, breast pain, or breast tenderness. The side effects usually resolve after some time. However, if they persist or worsen, speak to your ophthalmologist for further assistance. Some serious side effects mean you should inform your doctor immediately of ovary overstimulation (symptoms include pelvic pain, weight gain, stomach pain, and blurring vision. Do not drive vehicles or operate heavy machines while taking the medicine, as it can cause blurring of vision.
How to Use
Clofert 50 mg can be taken before or after consuming food. Do not take more than the recommended dose; follow your doctor’s instructions about the dose and duration of the treatment. The dose and how often you need to take this medicine depends on for what purpose you are taking it. Your doctor will decide how much you need to take to improve your symptoms. Using this medicine for the long term is unsafe, and it is usually advisable for three menstrual cycles.
