Description
Diane drug has a hormone combination that is used to treat women with severe acne who have not responded to other treatments, and to treat women with a moderately severe condition in which there is male-pattern hair growth. Cyproterone Acetate and Ethyl Estradiol are the main active pharmaceutical ingredients present in Diane tablets. This combination drug belongs to a group of drugs known as anti-androgen and estrogen. Both the drugs together, they are used to treat certain types of severe acne in women that have not been successfully treated with antibiotics and other treatments. This medicine contains two active drugs Cyproterone Acetate and Ethyl Estradiol that belong to the class of medicines called anti-androgens and estrogens respectively. It works by regulating hormones that affect the skin.
Product Description
Before you take Diane 35 mg, do not take it if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18 years old, have liver disease, cancer, or have been diagnosed with a meningioma. For the treatment of acne, Diane should only be used when the topical treatment has failed to affect. The medicine is also associated with the risk of thromboembolism and certain risk factors such as smoking, and obesity may further increase the risk. Do not take this medicine for birth control alone. The medicine will provide reliable birth control if you take it under the guidance of a doctor. Do not take hormonal control method while receiving Diane tablet. Make sure you do not miss a dose of the drug and use a non-hormonal birth control method to prevent pregnancy. Avoid taking medicine if you are obese or have high blood pressure, or diabetes. The risk of side effects associated with the medicine increases your age increases to 25 or above. Your doctor may prescribe this drug for a shorter period. Avoid smoking or drinking alcohol while receiving Diane 35 mg.
Side Effects
There are possible side effects that you may experience while taking Diane 35 mg. contact your doctor if you experience side effects such as nervousness pain during your period, nausea, increase or decrease in weight, breast tenderness, change your sex drive, dizziness, headache, runny or stuffy nose, or difficulty getting pregnant after stopping treatment. Visit your doctor if you experience any of these side effects become troublesome or persist for a longer duration
How to Use
Diane 35 mg is only beneficial for treating moderate to severe acne and hirsutism in women of childbearing age or hirsutism in women of child-bearing age.
