Description
Duolin Respules 1.25 mg 500 mcg is a dual drug combination with Ipratropium Bromide and Levosalbutamol Sulphate. Respule is one of the most preferred dosage forms for administering medicine to asthma patients. This dosage form renders targeted drug delivery at the site of action. Duolin respules is a solution for inhalation via a device called a nebulizer.
Levosalbutamol Sulphate
It is a rapid-acting beta receptor agonist as it stimulates them and causes smooth muscle relaxation. Its main goal is to stop the production of inflammatory chemicals that constantly blocks the airways and hinders smooth breathing activities. This ingredient helps relax the constricted bronchioles and prevents unwanted symptoms like wheezing, coughing and choking.

Respule is administered with a suitable nebulizer and an intermittent positive pressure ventilator. Always try to take the dose at the same time each day; this reduces the chances of missing a dose.
It is indicated for treating and preventing Bronchospasm associated with reversible COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder), chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
