Description
Ledihep 90/400mg is recommended for treating chronic or long-lasting hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, genotypes 1, 2, 3, and 4, in combination with pegylated interferon and ribavirin or with ribavirin alone. It is combined with another antiviral medicine to prevent the spread of HCV infection in the body. It can strengthen your immune system to curb infection and improve liver health. The medicine is usually taken along with other antiviral medicines. Both the active ingredients of the medicine – Ledipasvir and Sofosbuvir, can potentially lower the amount and intensity of the hepatitis C virus in the body. This medicine works by strengthening the immune system to resist the spread of infection. Also, it helps you eliminate the virus from the blood during the entire medication course.

How to Use
LediHep works best when its amount is kept at a constant level. Take medicine at evenly spaced intervals if you vomit within five hours of taking medicine. You may be required to take another dose. Continue to take the combination medicine for the full-time prescribed, even if symptoms resolve after some time. Sudden discontinuation may result in a return of the infection. Antacids may lower the absorption of Ledispavir. If you are taking an antacid, take it at least after four hours after taking this combination drug. Other acid-lowering medicines for indigestion, heartburn, or ulcers may prevent Ledipasvir from working. Talk to your doctor about how to use this medicine safely.
One tablet (90 mg of ledipasvir and 400 mg of sofosbuvir) is to be taken orally once a day, with or without food. Usually, the medication course lasts 12 to 24 weeks. A common dose recommendation cannot be made for people with severe renal impairment or end-stage renal disease. Continue to take this medicine even if you feel well. Don’t miss any doses.
