Description
Levolin respules 0.63mg/2.5ml contain levosalbutamol as the active ingredient. This drug treats troubled breathing caused by asthma and COPD, i.e. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Levolin is a bronchodilator that relaxes the smooth muscle in the lungs and dilates airways to improve breathing. It relaxes and opens the air passages to the lungs, making breathing easier.

Before taking Levosalbutamol, tell your doctor:
— If you are allergic to Levosalbutamol (Levolin) or any other medications
— About all the medications, including herbs and supplements, you are taking, as some medicine combinations can result in adverse drug interaction.
— If you have or have ever had high blood pressure, a decrease in blood potassium levels, an overactive thyroid gland, or an irregular heartbeat
Levosalbutamol is not recommended for pregnant women unless advised. Speak to your doctor before using the medicine. It is not suggested for use in breastfeeding women as the effect on the nursing infant. Your healthcare provider may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding if the use of this asthma drug is necessary. Because this medicine can make you feel dizzy, do not drive or use machinery until you feel better. Avoid smoking, as this medicine can damage your lungs and worsen your condition. Using Levolin has been associated with an increased heart rate and changes in blood pressure. It should be used cautiously in case of severe heart disease. It can also cause a mild to moderate rise in blood sugar levels in most patients. Hence, caution should be exercised if the patient has diabetes.
Levosalbutamol should be administered carefully in patients with seizure disorders due to convulsions’ increased frequency and severity. The medicine may cause worsening of asthma symptoms in some cases. Call your doctor immediately if you have trouble breathing after using the medicine. The medication should be stopped immediately in such cases.
Side Effects
Side effects that may go away during treatment include a fast heartbeat, nervousness, headaches, tremors, nausea, difficulty sleeping, and chest pain. These side effects are not serious and should gradually improve as the body gets used to the medicine.
How to Use
