Product Description
Before taking Mamofen 20 mg, tell your doctor if you are allergic to Tamoxifen or you have any other allergies. Let your doctor know about your medical history of blood clots, ability to walk, high blood pressure, liver disease, diabetes, cataracts, smoking, or high cholesterol. Please inform your doctor before having surgery and let him know about all the products you use, including prescription, non-prescription, vitamins, or other herbal supplements. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to conceive a baby. Women should use reliable contraceptive measures such as condoms and diaphragms with spermicide during the treatment. If you become pregnant, inform your doctor and discuss the risk and benefits of using this medicine. It is still not known whether Tamoxifen passes into breast milk, therefore consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
Certain products may interact with Mamofen 20 mg, and these include estrogens, blood thinners, hormonal forms of birth control, blood thinners, anastrozole and letrozole. Side Effects
Muscle aches, headache, hot flashes, leg cramps, nausea, hair thinning, and tingling of the skin may occur with the use of Mamofen 20 mg. A loss of sexual interest may occur in tamoxifen users. Other serious side effects include easy bruising, mood changes, unusual tiredness, signs of liver disease, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin, swelling of ankles/feet, loss of appetite, and symptoms of liver disease such as nausea or vomiting.
