Description
Pramipex 0.5 mg is a prescription treatment for patients with restless legs syndrome and symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. It displays antidepressant and anti-Parkinsonian effects. It is used along with other medicines to treat Parkinson’s syndrome.
— In Parkinson’s disease – Pramipexole (main active salt) helps to relieve symptoms of the disease, such as muscle stiffness, tremors, and difficulty moving. The active ingredient of the medicine works by acting in place of dopamine, a natural chemical substance in the brain that is required to control movement. This medicine can improve the quality of life by enhancing the ability to carry out daily activities better.
— In restless leg syndrome – In this condition, an uncontrollable urge to move your legs usually occurs because of an uncomfortable sensation. The condition typically affects the evening or night, especially when sitting or lying down. Moving, walking, or changing the posture will help control the unpleasant feeling for some time. Pramipexole helps you get rid of uncomfortable urges and calms these sensations.
