If you have had an allergic reaction to Terbinafine or any other inactive of the drug. Tell your dermatologist if you are allergic to any other topical preparation. Your dermatologist should be aware of all your allergies and what signs you have had earlier. These include hives, rash, wheezing, coughing, itching, rash, or swelling of face lips, throat, or tongue. Sometimes this antifungal solution is not safe when you used with other topical or oral preparations. Using them together can cause adverse effects. Be sure to tell your dermatologist all the topical and oral treatments.

Sebfin 1% does not pose any severe side effect. However, dermatologists advise to use it in moderation and under the supervision of a dermatologist. Severe drug allergies are rare with this antifungal cream. Sebfin 250 mg is effective against various fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails. It contains the active ingredient Terbinafine HCL, which belongs to the category of drugs known as antifungals, which works by killing the fungus that contributes to infection. Your doctor may also prescribe the antifungal medication for the treatment of fungal infection in the groin area, skin/ (ringworm), and the feet (athlete’s feet). Medicines are sometimes prescribed for medical conditions other than those listed in this medication guide. Do not start this antifungal treatment for which it was not prescribed. Take it under the supervision of a doctor.

Your dermatologist may ask you to apply once or twice daily. The antifungal treatment will depend on the type and severity of the infection. Usually, the fungal skin infection appears to improve within a few days of starting the topical treatment. You must use the cream regularly even if you see improvement in the symptoms of fungal infection. If your condition worsens or you don’t see improvement even after regular application for two weeks, speak to your dermatologist straight away. Check out these usage instructions:

• Cleanse and dry the affected area thoroughly with water and a mild cleanser. You may improve the effects of the topical treatment by keeping the affected clean by regular washing and careful drying, and not scratching the treated skin.
• A small amount of the cream is just enough to apply on the affected areas.
• Rub it gently with your fingertips. When you apply the cream on your buttocks or the groin, cover the treated area with a loss fitting clothes. Wash your hands after each application.
