It is recommended with diet when the response to a diet restricted in cholesterol, saturated fat, and other nonpharmacological measures alone has been insufficient.
It is prescribed as a combination therapy to diet to reduce raised density lipoprotein cholesterol, total cholesterol, and triglycerides and to increase high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) in adult patients with high cholesterol levels in their blood. High cholesterol levels can cause your blood vessels to narrow and make you more likely to have a stroke or heart disease. Lowering the fat further reduces the chances of this happening and helps you stay healthier for longer. Continue to take the medicine even if you feel well.

Atorlip F 10+ 145 should not be used in conditions like liver diseases (persistent yellowness of eyes). Before taking it, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disorder, are pregnant, are planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding. Diabetic patients should monitor their blood sugar levels while taking the medicine as it may increase blood sugar levels. This combination drug should be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Speak to your doctor if you develop any early symptoms of liver damage. The symptoms of liver problems include rash, nausea, vomiting, dark urine, abnormal liver enzymes, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, yellow skin, or eyes. The combination of medicine can cause muscle pain by injuring the muscles. It is important to inform your healthcare provider if you have developed muscle weakness, pain, and cramps.
Side Effects
Stomach pain, nausea, headache, constipation, muscle pain, and flatulence are the common side effects of Atorlip F 10+145 mg. Most of these side effects are usually mild and disappear quickly. Discuss with your doctor if they persist, if you experience yellowing of your eyes, bruising, or unusual bleeding, or get repeated, severe, or unexplained muscle pain. You may be asked to get your liver function tested while taking this medicine.
How to Use
The optimal dosage of Atorlip F largely depends on the patient’s medical history, body weight, gender, and age. Patients should be placed on a lipid-lowering diet before receiving Atorlip F and should continue this diet during treatment. The recommended dose is one tablet once a day. Atorlip F can be taken without regard to meals. You can eat normally while taking the medicine but try to avoid foods that have high-fat content.
