Description
Cipmox 500 mg treats bacterial infections. It is a drug of choice for treating infections of the skin, sinuses, lungs & airways, middle ear, and the urinary tract. It is also given to treat pneumonia, gonorrhoea, tonsillitis, and bronchitis. The medicine has Amoxicillin, which interferes with the synthesis of the cell wall in bacteria and prevents its growth. The effect of the antibiotic drug can be noticed within one to two hours of taking medicine.

A patient should not use Cipmox 500 mg capsules if he/she is allergic to the penicillin-based antibiotic. Note that your antibiotic medication can make your birth control pill less effective so ask your physician about using a non-hormonal contraceptive measure to prevent pregnancy during the antibiotic treatment. Tell your physician if you are a nursing mother, taking Cipmox 500 mg can harm your growing baby.
