Description
Duvadilan 10 mg is possibly effective for relieving symptoms associated with cerebrovascular insufficiency (many conditions that result in obstruction of one or more arteries that delivers blood to the brain). It is also prescribed to people with vascular disease of arteriosclerosis obliterans (an occlusive arterial disease most prominently affecting the abdominal aorta, as well as the small and medium-sized arteries of the lower extremities), thromboangiitis obliterans (Buerger’s disease), and Raynaud’s disease (during this condition, smaller arteries that supply blood to the skin narrow).
Duvadilan contains the active ingredient Isoxsuprine, which improves blood flow, preventing a stroke or heart attack. Make appropriate lifestyle changes such as eating healthy and regularly exercising) to maximize the effectiveness of this drug. Duvalin 10 mg is also used to prevent abnormal contractions of uterus muscles. It causes the muscle to relax by widening them to help increase blood supply to the smooth muscles of the uterus. This, in turn, prevents premature labour and miscarriage.
Product Description
Duvadilan is generally safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel dizzy. Avoid driving if these symptoms occur. Treatment should not be stopped abruptly without consulting your doctor, as it may lead to unwanted effects. Also, it is not suitable for some people. Tell your doctor if you have any bleeding disorders or heart problems. Avoid doing strenuous activities or avoid premature labour.
Isoxsuprine may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure, so if you are driving or operating a motor vehicle or attempting any hazardous task, please avoid it. Also, any strenuous activities should be avoided to avoid delivery complications. Do not stand suddenly from lying, as you may feel dizzy. Alcohol consumption during the treatment can cause dizziness, so one should avoid its intake. Isoxsuprine may interact with some medicines, so it is important to use this medicine cautiously with antifungal drugs, antibiotics, sedatives, anti-migraine medicines, anti-parkinson’s, anti-epilepsy, certain antidepressants, and other medicines to lower blood pressure.
Side Effects
The most common side effects of the medicine are dizziness. If this bothers you or appears serious, inform your doctor immediately. To reduce the chance of dizziness, you must stand slowly whenever standing up from a lying position or attention-requiring activities.
How to Use
The recommended dose is 10 mg, three or four times daily; however, always take medicine as prescribed. The use of Duvadilan in pediatric patients is not recommended as no evidence suggests the safety and effectiveness of Duvadilan in pediatric patients. Isoxsuprine should not be given immediately in the presence of arterial bleeding.
