Oxra 10mg Tablet

Do not take Oxra 10 mg if you are allergic to Dapagliflozin or any of the ingredients in the medicine. Symptoms of a serious allergic include skin rash, increased red patches on your skin, swelling of the face/lips/tongue, and throat may cause swallowing or breathing difficulties.

Before you take Oxra tablets, tell your doctor if you have any of the following conditions:

— Liver problems

— Kidney problems

— Type 1 diabetes or have had diabetic ketoacidosis

— History of urinary tract infections or problems urinating

— You are going to have a surgery

— Problems with your pancreas, including pancreatitis or surgery on your pancreas

— You are pregnant or planning to conceive

— You are breastfeeding

Tell your doctor about all your medicines, including prescription, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

Inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following drugs:

• Heart medications
• Blood pressure drugs
• A diuretic or water pill
• Insulin or oral diabetes medicine
• NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen, celecoxib, meloxicam, diclofenac etc.

The most common side effects of Oxra 10 mg include:

• Urinary tract infections
• Stuffy or runny nose and sore throat
• Vaginal yeast infections and sore throat
• Vaginal yeast infections and yeast infections of the penis
• Changes in urination, including the urgent need to urinate

Talk to your doctor immediately if you get any side effect that troubles you or persists for longer.

• Take Oxra 10 mg exactly as your doctor tells you to take it.
• Do not change your dose without talking to your doctor.
• Take medicine orally once a day before or after consuming food.
• For adults, the starting dosage is 5 mg which should be taken once a day in the morning.
• Your physician may increase your dosage to 10 mg daily if your blood sugar level is not controlled with the 5 mg dose.
• For older people, the doctor may advise starting the treatment with a lower dose to avoid the accumulation of Dapagliflozin in the body.
• Too much of this drug can be dangerous for the body’s system.
• Stay on the prescribed diet and exercise program while taking medicine
• Dapagliflozin will cause your urine to test positive for glucose.
• Your doctor may perform blood tests before you start treatment with Oxra, and during your treatment.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
• If it is almost time to take the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow the regular schedule as prescribed.
• Taking too much of this medicine may cause side effects.
• Please speak to your doctor if you develop serious side effects after an overdose of Dapagliflozin.
