Care must be taken when using Risnia 1 mg with some other medications. Check with your doctor before using any prescription medicine or medicine bought without a prescription from a pharmacy or a health food shop. This is especially important for:
— Medicines that may make your child sleepy (strong pain relievers, sedatives, tricyclic antidepressants, some antihistamines)
— Medicines indicated for controlling seizures or fits (valproate, phenytoin, carbamazepine)
— Drugs used to treat depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder
— Medicines are used for the treatment of blood pressure or heart disease.
Risperidone may cause some people to become drowsy. Let your child and their teacher know this, and notify your doctor if it becomes troublesome. Dizziness, light-headedness, or fainting may occur, especially when standing from a lying or sitting position suddenly and after every shot of shower and rising from the toilet. Getting up slowly may help resolve dizziness. If the problem persists or worsens, please check with your doctor.
This is not the complete risk list of precautions to be taken. Speak to your doctor about possible interactions with over-the-counter or complementary medicines or substances like alcohol.

How to Use
Risnia 1 mg must be given as directed and not to other people. Do not change your dosing regimen without your doctor’s advice. Treatment usually begins with low doses and then increases over the next few days as per response and tolerance. This helps prevent a sudden drop in blood pressure, the first dose effect that may occur otherwise. Once the acute symptoms are controlled, your doctor may reduce them to the least effective maintenance level. Risnia can be taken with a glass full of water. Consult a doctor to get the appropriate dose for your condition.
