Siphene 100 mg is used to treat infertility in women who are having a problem of conceiving a baby because of their improper functioning of the ovaries that leads to anovulation, a condition in which ovulation does not occur, but who have no other obvious cause for infertility, and whose partner is fertile. Siphene tablets are also used to treat male infertility by increasing sperm production in men with low sperm count but only at a lower dose. Clomiphene Citrate is the main active pharmaceutical ingredient present in Siphene tablets. Clomiphene is a non-steroidal fertility medicine. It is considered as a first-line treatment for curing the ovulatory disorder. This drug consists of Clomiphene Citrate. Clomiphene belongs to an antioestrogens class of medicines. It works by changing the hormonal balance in the body. This stimulates the release of an egg from the ovary and helps in fertilization in females. In males, it causes improved production of sperms.

Side Effects
Facial flushes, mild abdominal pain or discomfort, bloating, ovarian enlargement, blurred vision are the common side effects of Siphene 100 mg. Siphene 100 mg may rarely cause serious side effects such as nausea or vomiting, increased nervous tension, depression, fatigue, dizziness or light-headedness, headache, heavier menstrual periods, intermenstrual spotting (bleeding between periods), weight gain, hives, allergic dermatitis, increased urinary frequencies and moderate reversible hair loss. How to Use
You should take Siphene 100 mg once daily before or after consuming food for consecutive five days. Your doctor may ask you to start taking the drug on the fifth day of the menstrual cycle. Your doctor may repeat the treatment if the process of ovulation does not occur. Protect the tablet from light and moisture.
