Temoside 100mg Capsule

Do not take Temoside 100 mg if you are allergic to dacarbazine, another anticancer drug. Also, avoid taking this medicine if you have a red itchy rash or a severe allergic reaction, such as breathing difficulty, facial swelling, tongue or throat swelling, or any of the components in Temoside capsules. Patients should tell their doctor if they have kidney problems or liver diseases before taking the Temozolomide formulation. There are no dietary restrictions for patients taking Temoside 100 mg.

The anticancer drug may affect testicular function and may give rise to congenital disabilities. Male patients exercise adequate birth control measures; they must use condoms during the treatment and for at least three months after the last dose.

Female patients must avoid becoming pregnant while receiving this anticancer medication. Pregnant women are advised of the potential risk to the fetus. Females of reproductive potential should use effective contraception during the treatment and at least six months after the last dose. It is still unknown whether Temoside is excreted into breast milk. Because of the potential for serious side effects in breastfeeding children, women are advised not to breastfeed while taking Temozolomide and for at least one week after the last dose. It is not known whether this anticancer drug is safe and effective in children.

Fatigue, nausea, vomiting, and alopecia are the most common side effects of using Temoside 100 mg. Other commonly reported side effects by patients taking Temozolomide capsules are anorexia, constipation, headache, and convulsions. Tell your doctor if any of these side effects bother you or do not resolve on their own. These are not all the possible side effects of this anticancer medicine. The doctor calculates the daily dose of Temoside capsules based on a patient’s condition. Patients should continue taking this medicine until their doctor determines their disease has progressed or until undesired adverse effects occur. Generally, treatment is continued for a maximum of two years. Healthcare specialists may alter the treatment regimen for a patient according to the treatment response. Patients are advised to take each dose with a glass of water, preferably on an empty stomach. Taking this medicine on an empty stomach or at bedtime may help resolve nausea.

Those taking anti-nausea or other medications to eliminate the side effects associated with Temozolomide are advised to take these medications before taking Temoside capsules. One should swallow the capsule whole and not chew, open or split capsules. If you vomit the capsule, do not take more capsules. Wait and take your next scheduled dose.
