Valgan 450 mg is prescribed to treat cytomegalovirus retina (retinitis) infection in adult patients who have AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). Retinitis is a serious viral infection of the retina which should be treated under the supervision of a clinical expert. Valgan 450mg also prevent CMV (Cytomegalovirus) injection in patients who have undergone and received an organ transplant from a CMG infected donor. Valgan medicine belongs to the antiviral class of drug that helps to stop the growth and reproduction of the virus in the body.
CMV is a common virus infection that could have no symptoms or symptoms like fatigue and fever etc. Severe infection may involve symptoms in eyes, brain, or other internal body organs. CMV can spread through sexual or nonsexual contact with the body. The tablet successfully helps to prevent multiplication of virus infection.

Take Valgan 450mg tablet as a whole with a glass of water after taking food. Do not break or crush the tablet to lose its effectiveness. Valgan medicine should be used under the observation of a clinical expert to avoid any severe side effects. Special caution should be taken if you are a patient having pre-existing cytopenias or receiving/received myelosuppressive drugs. Also inform your doctor before taking this drug if you have low blood cells count, kidney issues, or receiving any radiation treatment. Pregnant women should not be taken this drug unless your doctor prescribes it. Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and store it at room temperature (between 15-25ºC).
