    ZyriK 100 mg reduces the production of uric acid in your body. Uric acid build-up can lead to gout or kidney stones. This drug is used to treat gout or kidney stones, and to decrease levels of uric acid in people who are receiving cancer treatment. Allopurinol is categorized under the drug class enzyme inhibitors (xanthine oxidase). The medicine is known to cause a significant reduction in the quantity of uric acid in the body by blocking one of the processes that make it. Allopurinol may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

    Product Description

    Zyrik 100 mg might not suit everyone, and it is important to tell your doctor if you have a history of an allergic reaction to Allopurinol or any other ingredients of the medicine, have liver problems, kidney disorders, an underactive thyroid, or have severe lung disease. Some medicines may interfere with the way this statin medication works and increase the chance of having severe side effects.

    Side Effects

    Zyrik 10 mg is usually safe and well-tolerated. However, the statin drug may affect some people and cause unwanted effects. You must talk to your doctor if side effects associated with Allopurinol bothers you and do not go away. You may develop a sore throat, fever, nausea, joint pain, flu symptoms, headache, the first sign of any skin rash, no matter how mild, pain or bleeding when you urinate, upper stomach pain, itching, loss of appetite, dark urine.     How to Use

    You may take the tablet in the evening with a glass full of water. The statin medication does affect the metabolism, so you may take it before or after consuming food. Usually, the dosage depends on the cholesterol levels and other medicines that you have been using to lower uric acid level in the body. Ask your doctor if you are not sure how much to take to reduce uric acid. Do not reduce your dose without discussing with your doctor. Your doctor may increase or decrease the dose as per your condition. Do not miss doses and make sure you complete the course of treatment even if you think your condition improved. The treatment duration will vary according to the condition of the patient. Avoid exceeding the maximum daily doses of Zyrik.
